COMMUNICATION

Crossing cultural divides

After living abroad for two years, I have learned how to effectively communicate across cultural and language barriers.

As the Program Assistant for LWF Jerusalem, I became an expert at social media, and comfortable interacting with people from around the world. As a tutor at Wartburg College, I worked with students from varying educational backgrounds to create academic pieces. My time working at Longmont United Hospital provided opportunities to connect with people from all socioeconomic levels. Over five years in customer service has given me the ability to keep open lines of communication through all levels of emotion.

Academically, I have given presentations in several disciplines including biology, chemistry, and theology. I have experience creating accompanying presentation media such as scientific posters and PowerPoint slideshows.

If you need my communication skills in your organization, please contact me.
